Formerly "The Mosque", the Sarah Vaughan Concert Hall is an ornate theater with a proscenium stage suitable for all types of programs including R&B, Opera, Musical Theater, Jazz, Dance, Film Screenings, Corporate Meetings and much more.
TERRACE BALLROOM
Located on the lower level at Newark Symphony Hall, the Terrace Ballroom is one of metro-Newark's largest meeting/banquet spaces also ideal for dances, dance classes, movement workshops, fashion shows and wedding receptions. The Ballroom's two full-service bars create the perfect setting for cabaret performances, jazz programs and other small concerts. This large open space features a sunken dance floor with an elevated stage and two side "terraces".

The Lobby of the Sarah Vaughan Concert Hall provides a unique setting for your small meeting or reception. Use of the Newark Room is included to accommodate you catering setup and beverage station.
NEWARK STAGE
Located on the second floor of Newark Symphony Hall, this intimate black box theater space is the ideal "off Broadway" space perfect for small stage plays, TV and video tapings, small dance and musical presentations, rehearsals, auditions, poetry readings and lectures.
THE STUDIO
Located on the street level of Newark Symphony Hall, this intimate space is ideal for your special occasion celebration, reception, meeting, seminar or reading.
DANCE STUDIO
Home of the Garden State Ballet School, the dance studio is located on the fourth floor of Newark Symphony Hall. Its flexibility is idea for rehearsals, recitals, informal showings, readings and performances.
GRIFFITH BEACH THEATER ORGAN
The Griffith Beach Organ Company built ten theatre organs in theatres in northeastern New Jersey between 1921 and 1925. The organ in Newark Symphony Hall was installed in 1925.
