Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is an Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. Composers, record producers, musicians and multi-instrumentalists, they have composed music for over fifty soundtracks across four languages. Among the most critically acclaimed Indian musicians, the trio have won over twenty awards, including one National Film Award, three Filmfare Awards, three IIFA Awards among several other awards and nominations. They are often referred to as "Amar Akbar Anthony" of Hindi film music by several, including eminent critic Rajeev Masand.

In a two-hour presentation of story-tellers, you will experience this dynamic cast sharing their most intimate and life changing true stories.

Created by Yolanda Hughes, this author of books, screenplays and stage plays is proud to bring back this much praised production to her hometown on Saturday, May 21, 2016 brought to you by the social events company Black Girl Media and hosted by Rae-Shan Nate' Barclift of 'I Ain't That Chick' along with Executive Producers Kisha Hudson and Sharronda Harrell-Thompson.

Red carpet arrivals will begin at 4:00 pm and will lead into the Vendors' Marketplace and Picture/Media area followed by VIP seating; the first act to commence at 6pm. To be held at Newark Symphony Hall's Terrace Ballroom, Newark NJ, this dinner theater-style production is designed as a traditional speakeasy, will transport you to the Harlem of yesterday. A time when truths were often told by way of art and entertainment and guests were dressed in their Sunday's best for a night out at the 'ShugarShak'.
